·H2 Blockers ( Rantidine / Zantac )
·Proton Pump Inhibitors ( eg. Ompeprazole / Prilosec )
·Colchicine
·Zidovudine
·Nitrous Oxide anestesia ( Exposure )
·Glucophage / Metformin; Phenformin
Lab Tests :
·B - 12 levels
·MMA ( methylmalonic acid ) shows if folate / folic acid is masking a true B-12 deficency
Dosages: 1,000 mic / ml - SUB-Q or IM every 7 days.
